The cataract surgery went well and things are so much clearer now.  I have the 2nd surgery next week and I will be glad to have it behind me.

We survived the hurricane and everything is still standing.  The grands were here for a week and may not go back to school until next week.
It is good to keep easy things for kids to eat = crackers, trail mix, individual packs of juice, hot dogs which can be cooked on the grill - it is best to be prepared.  I also add new crayons & coloring books and make sure their tablets are powered - up.  I wish the best to everyone affected by the monster.

 I got Spellbound Glow highlighter - Blush & Glow in rose gold and Double Duty Beauty eye shadows. I don't really need more highlighter so I might let this go.  The eye shadows have more glitter than I use but some of the colors are irresistible! Collecting seems to be my new hobby!

My fall wreath seems to give the door a fresh look.  I am very tired of 90 deg days!

I tried a recipe that is supposed to be simple macaroni & cheese in the crock pot - you don't even have to boil the pasta.

It took much longer than stated and the taste was not as creamy as my gang likes.  I never add new recipes for the first time for holiday dinners - so this is out the door!  I am trying to get Thanksgiving in my mind so I can plan ahead - cataract surgery next week is throwing me off.
