I stopped at an outlet that has cosmetics and found Estee Lauder's Pure Color Envy Eye Shadow at 50% off!
This color ' Audacious Nude' is a nice eye shadow color but could also be used as a blush for fair skin - I like double duty products - which makes this perfect for travel.

And to add to the fun, some of the Bronze Goddess was on sale at 30% off!!
The whipped body cream was a nice size and not overly perfumed - it really could have been a little stronger and that would be nice ~ but I have the body oil spray so I am good!

I also picked up the Passion Fruit lip gloss and really like this color ~ I think it will be great for summer.  It goes on very light so you can add as much color as you like.  This was not goopy!

My eye look is from Sephora Sunbleached Filter (I forgot I had this!!).
I used Secret Boudoir, Latergram,Whitewashed & Walking in the sand
The colors are definitely for spring & summer and are very adaptable.
*Ignore the packages on the floor - I was exhausted when I got home and I did not even have to drive ~but it was a fun day!
I am still in warm clothes because it is cold here in the South and we just had snow again!  But I enjoy this because our summers are so hot & humid and last forever!!

Since my gang will be here for Easter lunch I wanted an easy snack and everyone loves nuts.
So I prepared my version of Rosemary Roasted Nuts done in the microwave - so easy!
2 cups mixed nuts & 1/2 cup dry roasted peanuts
2TBS light olive oil
2TBS minced rosemary
1TBS herbe de provence
1/2 tsp cumin
1tsp brown sugar
2tsp chili powder
2tsp Himalayan salt
Pinch fresh black pepper
Mix everything together in a bowl and microwave for 30sec intervals, stirring each time.  I did this 3 times to get the flavor I wanted - I will have to make an extra batch because Son & DIL will want to take some home!
*Adjust this to what flavors you like - if you like a sweeter taste, double the brown sugar or if you like spice double the chili powder - this cannot be messed up!
The Easter ham ready & waiting in the spare refrigerator.

When I saw this 'some what' new edition to Estee Lauder's Bronze Goddess collection I had to have it ~ esp since there was a free gift bag!
Bronze Goddess Shimmering Oil Spray for Hair & Body
The first few ingredients are the same as last year's Shimmering Body Oil Spray.

So I test a slight mist on my hair of this year's edition and as a platinum blonde, I would not spray it on my hair again because it does deposit color as seen in the photos:
Now if you have dark hair I think it would be fine, esp if you spray the mist on your hands and then run thru your hair.  The fragrance is still a wonderful summery scent and it will not go to waste - just not on my hair!

Now on to the free gift - I got the Capri bag with the lip gloss which is a gorgeous shade - but - I am even crazier about the Pure Envy Sculpting Blush in Luminizer ~ it is almost the perfect bronze color for fair skin.  There is some luminosity but no shimmer.  The EL site is not offering this particular color but a close match is Lover's Blush - maybe just a shade darker but I can work with that. I am picking it up with the next gift event.
Some of the other items in the gift bag included:
Envy Lash Multi Effects Mascara; Perfectly Clean Mult Action Foam Cleanser;  Advanced Night Repair Recovery Complex
Pure Envy Sculpting Gloss in Passion Fruit; The Illuminator Primer - these are perfect sizes for travel and a nice way to try new products.
Here are some of my other favorite Bronze Goddess items I keep on hand:

I love this time of year as the new spring/summer collections start to roll out.

Macaroni & Tuna Salad
This is great for spring & summer lunch and for barbecues.
Mayonnaise      Dill pickle relish   1/2 cup minced onion
As much of these spices as you like:Oregano, herbes de provence, tarragon, celery seed
I use inexpensive tuna because it is going to get mushed up when everything is stirred together!
I use the small elbow macaroni~ this is always in my frig, in some form!

Since Ulta was hawking the new palette from Urban Decay, Naked Petite Heat I was fairly sure I had these colors in other palettes and of course I do!
I did a coppery/sunset look and liked it better than I thought I would.  I used (from top)
Ulta's Rose Gold  palette  ~ Naked 3 ~  Catrice Precious Coppers  & elf 48 Must Haves eye shadows
It pays to look thru the zillion palettes we have laying around!
Definitely time for a haircut!!

                                                            The spring wreath is ready!
What crazy weather! 3 in of snow today and Friday will be 65deg!  Only in the South!
Great hills for the grands to sled on but they were not here, so..........
I might as well treat myself to choc chip cheesecake! (with whipped cream)
Sorry about the wonky pictures - blogger has a mind of its own!!

The gorgeous Cherie at Style Nudge ( http://www.stylenudge.com/shoe-tell-fashion-link-together/#more-18924) got me to thinking (which on some days is painful!).
Are you super organized or some days you just "let it ride".  In my defense, I am a daily migraineur (a rare group but we exist) so some days packages & bags get left on the floor.  I am going to show some of my "ideas" of organizing but it is still a work in progress. Right after moving into this house I had my 3rd & 4th brain surgeries so I am still playing catch up.
These are some of my leisure wear pieces (and some still in the package!) They are somewhat organized by color & sleeve length.  On to the purse group: a full length mirror is surrounded by peg board - for me out of sight is out of mind so I need things out so I can see them!
Wallets in boxes are not a great idea because I forget about them! These are too small for my needs so I should sell them.  And of course dust covers should be used - not folded and sitting on a shelf!
Are you super organized - please share any tips!!
This is all I am willing to confess to!!

                                                          One of our favorite recipes!
                                                            Ham & Potato Casserole
Frozen o'brien potatoes (with onions & peppers-28oz bag)
*Thaw potatoes overnight in frig
1 1/2 cups cubed ham from leftovers
2 cups shredded cheese~ whatever you like~I use sharp cheddar and usually add another cup
1 can (10 3/4 oz) cream of chicken soup(do not dilute)    1/2 cup sour cream
1/2 stick of butter
TBS parsley - 1/2 TBS oregano (optional)  Salt & Pepper
Reserve some cheese for the final 30 mins of baking to cover the top
**You can add green beans for a 1-pan meal!

Stir all together and bake at 350 for up to 2 hours, esp if you have other things in the oven.  Stir every 20 mins - even my picky eaters like this.
Left overs can be frozen for later.
