Since Ulta was hawking the new palette from Urban Decay, Naked Petite Heat I was fairly sure I had these colors in other palettes and of course I do!
I did a coppery/sunset look and liked it better than I thought I would.  I used (from top)
Ulta's Rose Gold  palette  ~ Naked 3 ~  Catrice Precious Coppers  & elf 48 Must Haves eye shadows
It pays to look thru the zillion palettes we have laying around!
Definitely time for a haircut!!

                                                            The spring wreath is ready!
What crazy weather! 3 in of snow today and Friday will be 65deg!  Only in the South!
Great hills for the grands to sled on but they were not here, so..........
I might as well treat myself to choc chip cheesecake! (with whipped cream)
Sorry about the wonky pictures - blogger has a mind of its own!!

  1. I just want to say I love your hair, such a cute perky style.
Both styles you showed. I am going gray, but I am mostly silver
in the front and I have very straight hair.....and think this
style would work for me too. Thanks so much for sharing this as I have been trying to figure out what to do with my hair that would be perky and cute and different. I already wear it
flipped up, but it is a bit longer. Does your hair flip up in
    the back as well???
    Anyway so enjoyed your post......
    blessings, Nellie
    Come by and visit sometime.

    1. Hi Nellie; I went to your blog and left a comment but in case you missed it ~ yes my hair is flipped up in the back. It has lots of layers since it is so straight. I also use a 'purple' shampoo once a month to keep the color bright (it's natural thanks to breast cancer!)
      Thank you for visiting, Mimi

    2. Hi Again, Mimi, left a followup to your comment on my
      blog down below....lol
Thank you so much for being so sweet to give me info on
your hair. It is so pretty, love the color, but so sorry you had to get it the way you did, but nice to
have as a blessing to remember from such a difficult time. I want to join your blog, but they say it will
put my last name on, and I really don't want that,
but will check and see if there is a way to remedy that....cause it hasn't been that way before or at least not that I remember.....
Hope you are having a lovely Day this first day of
Spring, it is gloomy and gonna be stormy soon here,
      but still excited for Spring.
Blessings, and will come by again....
      Nellie

  10. Hi Mimi,
thought since you are a no reply blogger I would just post
the comment I left for you on my blog. So scroll down....lol

    Hello Mimi,
So nice to meet you hear in blogland. We seem to be at the same stage in life, married
long time (47 yrs. for us) grown children and grandchildren. We only have 1 grandchild
a precious lil darling granddaughter that just turned 5 recently.

Thank you so much for coming by and also for telling me about the name of your hair cut.
I especially needed some ideas for the top of my hair, as I just think it is too flat for
me.....it doesn't look like my photo on my blog right now as I have let part of my bangs
    grow out.

Will come by to see you soon. Sorry it has taken me so long to write back....but it has
been a bit busy around here lately.
    Blessings to you and yours,
    Nellie
