Since I was out for my birthday, I picked up a couple of things I have been wanting to try:
Algenist has some good reviews and I will be happy if the product just does 1/2 of  the promises!
Of course it will help if I am consistent in using it!

The Ole Henriksen Sheer Transformation creme is a nice way to help the skin with Vit C.  It is a very soft/non-greasy creme that spreads on smoothly and absorbed quickly - definitely a keeper.

I ordered some Laura Geller products that I am excited to try.  But the first item I tried was a little disconcerting because the product was not sealed.  Laura Geller New York
Lip Oil Tint - Hibiscus Pink is a lovely color and very moisturizing - but I feel all cosmetics should come in a sealed package and this did not.
I also got Laura Geller's Baked Body Frosting - Face & Body Glow in Honey Glow.  This is one of the lighter bronzers that she produces.  It comes with a powder puff but I prefer a brush.
(You don't have to brush on so heavily - this can easily be sheered out)
I think I have enough bronzers to open my own store!!!!

Do you take specialty vitamins?  I have before and I am going to try this variety for a while.
It is mostly B vits and I probably need them so it can't hurt.
I take a multi whenever the mood hits me but maybe with this, I will be more consistent.  I'm sure my Dr will be thrilled I am adding something to my diet - besides a morning doughnut!!!  But hey ~ I eat more salads than anyone else around here!!

Here is an easy gift idea for your girl friends!
One serving of various spirits for her to try (one has real gold flakes inside) ~ just in case she has 'one of those' days!  Add a bottle of club soda or tonic water and she will be set.

Super easy tuna & macaroni salad served in disposables so grandson and I can watch Sharknado!
It is so funny and campy - perfect for a 12 yr old.
Tuna & Macaroni Salad: Cook macaroni until done and rinse with cool water - drain.
Mix together tuna, celery seed, dijon mustard, onion, dill pickle relish, black pepper and a pinch of oregano. Add mayonnaise as desired (several large spoon fulls for me).  Delicious served chilled on a hot day.

Next week my beloved grandson & I will celebrate our birthdays with Jurassic Park birthday cake that he decorates - pics from years past:
Happy birthday angel ~ I could not love you more.........
(Put them in white t-shirts so you can bleach the frosting out later)

Someone sent me this - I forgot it was such a fun song: Summer of 69
