I have been so happy with my Bare Minerals purchases I have bought multiples during the sales!
My skin acted up recently and now that my derm has me under control I have started using the mineral products - so far so good!  At least with rosacea, you can save on blush!!!

I bought 2 of these during a recent sale ~ since they were less than $20 each!

 Each kit contained primer, face brush and concealer brush, original foundation with SPF 15, concealer and mineral veil. (If you click on photo it will get bigger)
I am not much of a primer user and I won't use the concealer brush but someone will want them.
I truly love the mineral veil and many times it is all I use for a day in town.

This Ahava Dead Sea Water mineral hand cream is wonderful!

This silky formula absorbs quickly with no greasy residue  ~  just a faint fragrance that dissipates quickly.  Would be a nice addition to a gift bag.

So glad to have my 2 turkeys in the freezer, ready for the holidays - they are only about 21 lbs - I prefer larger but there were none available - but that's ok because there will also be ham at Christmas;  just leaves more room for dessert!!

Triple C & Peptides

This is a watery consistency and absorbs quickly - I found this at a discount dept store but it is also available on Amazon (though at a higher price).

While out shopping I found this from Too Faced:

These are not as sheer as Hourglass Ambient Powders (which I love)  but can certainly give you a color correcting look for photos.
Retails for $36 but no longer available in the USA - if you are interested in this come back as I will probably sell it. (The box is sealed)

I really like the No7 skin care line and have been using this:

I can't say all the wrinkles disappeared (but I can wish!) but it is moisturizing and you can add concealer as needed.  I am glad to see more of this line available in the US.

This Almay Smart Shade CC Primer  is wonderful!  It gives sheer moisturizing concealer to any area on the face that needs some help and it has SPF 15 - it has a lovely pinkish tone:

Have you started your holiday decorating?  Yes I have because little GD likes to help and she does not come every weekend.  I always have some unbreakable ornaments that she can hang and if they drop, no harm done.

 

It's a work in progress - I need a few more details (ornaments & pearl strings) and it will be finished.

I realize this was a summer release but I was on the fence about it - so just now got it and I am not sure I will keep it. Yes it does have a slight sweet/peach scent.  I have never been crazy about orange/coral colors but there are only 2 in this palette so that's ok - the colors tend to be darker than I normally use so this may end up being a gift.

This is a nice brow product if you are in the market ~ "Brow Power" by It Cosmetics.

This is a universal color and can be make darker by using a firmer hand.  There are caps for both ends so this will make it simple to carry.

I recently read a fashion blog that has a link up but does not want anything but clothes!  For me, fashion and make up are joined at the hip!  How could you put together a great outfit and not do the face & hair??  I certainly believe a blogger should do as she pleases with her blog but fashion without beauty is champagne without the bubbles!

The current issue of House Beautiful features an entry way in a lovely lavender!  Since my dining room is pink I appreciate the use of color.  I think this is a Georgian (1700-1780) Colonial which can easily accommodate color and I hope this bodes well for the spring colors for 2017.
