Walking through the woods back to my house.
I had quite a haul from Ulta this week - lots of good things that I will break down slowly. Some of it will be gifts but most of it is for me - I have to be honest!!
I very kindly received this lovely snake skin bag filled with all of these products -
some are full size!
This is what I use to wash my face every day - it is gentle even when using my Clarisonic.
Ulta had a special - buy one - get one 50% off so that is a good deal for me. I cannot always find this in stores and I don't want to run out since I live in the middle of no where!
This is the body wash I use all year - though formulated for winter, it is moisturizing without being oily and making the shower slippery! As a rule, I cannot find it locally so I stock up when I find it on Amazon:
I like many of the Hourglass products and have all of the Lighting Powders - they give such a soft glow without being sparkly. So I thought I would try this:
Hourglass Ambient Lighting Blush - Dim Infusion (Light peach - one of the lightest colors) - info from the website:
"Discover a new way to blush: This groundbreaking hybrid combines the customized lighting effects of Ambient Lighting Powder with a spectrum of breathtakingly modern hues"
I am not a big blush person as I have some redness to my skin - but the color was so pretty.
Color on a tissue and under the forearm - it is a very finely milled powder so you can build on it if needed - I won't need to - just a quick swipe will be enough color for me. This will definitely last!
But it does not have the soft focus effect that the Lighting Powders are known for - so one blush will be enough for me.
Artisan organic greens for lunch: I try to be good!
But sometimes you need a doughnut!
I recently read about the high cost of a migraineur's meds. When she started using it in the 1980's it cost $180 for 10 doses. Her most recent prescription cost almost $15,000.00 for 10 doses. NO, that is not a misprint! It made me so mad I thought my head would explode! I believe in
a competitive market but this is just outrageous.
This year I had one medication jump from $6 to $80 in one month and it's an old generic med! Something is very wrong in the pharma industry. I shudder to think what it will cost at the first of the year.
Be well my loves.
Pink isn't just a color ~ it's an attitude!
