I have dabbled in Tarte cosmetics all year so I ordered the 'Glow Beyond' collection:
I especially wanted to try the bronzer Park Ave Princess. It looks matte in the compact but there is a little shimmer in it. I think it is too dark for me but I do think I could lighten it up with setting powder. I have not tried the mascara yet and may not, as I only use waterproof.
These shoes are so cute for sort of dressed-up casual; I only wear these indoors, a fancy version of "house" shoes:
No heels!!!! I normally buy my pants in petite size so there is no hemming needed.
And of course, the fashionable 5 yr old in her Christmas finery....
I plan to resume designing hair accessories for little fashionistas after the new year and you can go here: http://thesweetpinkshop.blogspot.com to see some of my former designs. Now that brain surgery is no longer my hobby I can begin creating again, especially now that the Princess is very interested in anything pink & frilly! They say she gets it honest, and I have nooooo idea what they mean??!!!!!!!!!
What a darling girl! I've always liked Tarte as well, I have to investigate this set. Thanks for sharing with Visible Monday and Happy New Year!
ReplyDeleteMy experience with Tarte is so far limited to the Be MATTEnificent palette, which I really like. The princess is adorable! Love her festive outfit!

Love those beautiful shoes! I found some similar to them when we were in China for our adoptions, and I wore them out . . . . now I can't find more here in the States ;o( Stopping by from the Thursday Favorite Things Blog Hop at Katherine's Corner. Nina @ Vintage Mama's Cottage
ReplyDeleteHere from the Grand Social and I'm loving those shoes!! Your Princess and La Princesa seem to be going through the same phase, so I look forward to seeing your creations. Have a great 2015!
ReplyDeleteI love Tarte! lad to hear of others using their products! Thanks for sharing this on the Celebrate Southern link up last week! Hope to see you back again this week! :)
ReplyDeleteYour grand daughter looks so pretty in her Christmas Dress and pretty bow in her hair! I have never tried Tarte cosmetics, but they look like they would be very good. I am looking for products that leave a little glow, but not any glittery shimmer. In the stores I am always holding products up and moving them around to determine if they have any shimmer in them. It is so hard to tell and I don't know what the ingredient is that makes the shimmer, though I believe it may be mica. Something in most of the shimmery makeup seems to make my eyes itch and is not very attractive on my skin.
ReplyDeleteHappy 2015!
Those are such pretty shoes to be worn in doors only. Hope you had a great holiday season!
