I tend to have some reddish undertones on my cheeks so I fear blush will just accentuate the skin color - I find bronzer to be more useful to give my cheeks some color.
I do love the ombre blush on the right - It's Estee Lauder & I probably have not used it twice - I found it at an outlet & could not resist it!
I have found another Revlon Colorstay polish in Rich Raspberry. It is a lovely color and can be used year 'round. It is definitely a berry color and not a true red - which will be very versatile. But this particular color did not last as many others have and did not seem as thick-but a great color.
The Sephora 20% off sale ends today so I need to get my order in. This is what I have chosen:
Caudalie Lip Conditioner
Phyto
Phytoplage Protective Sun Veil
Viktor & Rolf Flowerbomb Hair Mist
Sephora Favorites Skin Wonderland

It's time to put up the tree - only partially decorated because the grand children will be here soon to finish the decorating. I still need to create the bow tree topper which will be in burgundy, cream & gold:
What is your color scheme this year?

No that I am older my cheeks seem to be rosy quite often, so I don't use blush anymore either. I haven't started decorating for Christmas yet, but I'm getting so excited! Hope you had fun with the kids! Thanks for sharing with SYC.

I have a pretty big collection of blushers as well - I'm never sure whether I like the pinky or the peachy tones best. We'll be decorating our tree this coming weekend. We have a 'family' tree in the library with all our sentimental decorations on it which is blue tones and a formal tree that is red and gold to match our living room. Thank you so much for sharing with us at the Hearth and Soul Hop!
ReplyDeleteIt's tough to find a blush that's the right color or consistency for me. Like you, I wear bronzer most of the time too. It's great you're getting a head start on Christmas! I haven't even thought about it yet, but I think we'll start getting into the spirit after Thanksgiving.
ReplyDeleteIt was lovely to see you on #SHINEbloghop this week. Thanks for sharing this with us!
Have a great weekend :)
