Good Morning
Since we have had so much snow, I may as well shop!  I love the convenience of having what I want delivered to my door ~ here are some of my new favorites:
Ulta's Super Shiny Lip Gloss in Siren & Starlet~
It really is a shiny lip gloss which I prefer because the lines on the lips are not so noticeable since the light reflects back - and many times these items are BOGO.
These particular colors are hardly one shade in difference so which ever color is in the bag I am carrying it will be fine.

To prevent dry lips, I have been using No7 Lift & Luminate night serum on eyes & lips and it is a good product!
From what I have read, this comp has done studies to prove their prods work & I have liked everything I have tried.

I recently bought this: John Frieda Luxurious Volume Hairspray All-Day-Hold. This is an ultra-fine spray with no detectable scent - this will be great as the humidity starts up around here in spring!
I generally like John Frieda products & use the purple shampoo every month.

Since we had snow again this weekend, it was the perfect time to make cookies:
I packaged up a bunch for Papaw to take to my beloved grands ~ since son requested more of my Starbucks Mocha coffee, off it goes to him.  I did not care for it but love my purchase of Crazy Cups Death by Chocolate:
Since my son gave me the Keurig I have spent a fortune on coffees & teas but what a way to go!  It has been a lot of fun!

I want to have a giveaway to show my appreciation to my followers - I always enjoy hearing from you & love sharing information on the latest prods we need in our life.

I have become a fan of Tarte products & Tarte Miracles from the Amazon 6-piece Collection came today;
Beauty News: Today Only on QVC— tarte Miracles from the Amazon 6pc. Collection
Amazonian Clay Eye & Cheek Palette
Amazonian clay-infused shadows

  • Pink Beyond - matte soft pink
  • Taupe for the Best - shimmering steel taupe
  • Dreams Plum True - true matte plum
  • Out of This Pearl - pearly golden ivory
  • Thistle Be The Day - plush matte grey/beige
  • Paint the Brown - matte chocolate brown ~
  •           So glad to see matte shades!
Full sized blush in Talented ~ soft peachy coral

I really like the brushes but the blending side is not defined enough for me - I prefer a smaller brush with a more pointed end.
LipSurgence Liquid Lip Shine in Exquisite is a great shiny lipgloss in a perfect, soft mauve/berry shade.
    ETA:
How did I live without this cutie?
I am going to buy one for every handbag!

Is this not heart-breaking to see such a nice bag ruined??!!!!!
Really, someone cut holes in the LV and they want us to pay for it????????????
It is a world gone mad!

I love these cut glass pitchers (I have 2) and made white wine sangria for lunch:

Snow & ice be gone - it's delaying my package deliveries!
    Stay warm!

I am currently trying this shampoo & I believe it is perfect for winter!
Just a little product gives a moisturizing cleanse and I did not need conditioner - a nice shampoo that did not weigh my hair down & added a natural softness.
It is also time for a spot of the purple shampoo to keep our light locks lovely!
Remember: at least once a month, go purple!

Also newly arrived is Nivea's new in-shower Body Lotion for very dry skin - absolutely superb for this weather!
The Sally Hershberger Style Primer (pic below) was a nice product - a very light mousse & soft scent that dissipated quickly - my hair was shiny, with no stiffness.  But the product was not easy to find & the price was high just to be part of my on-going arsenal ~ I am all about variety!

I have been a fan of  Maybelline Baby Lips for a while & I just bought the "Cherry Me"; I know it looks very dark red but it definitely goes on as a sheer little bit of color.  It is very moisturizing with just the right amount of color ~ perfect to keep in your bag because you don't need a mirror to apply.
I have been trying some of  Mally Evercolor Shadow Sticks & lipgloss (High Shine Liquid Lipstick in Epic Pink).  The lip gloss was too gloopy for me but the Shadow Sticks were wonderful!  They just glided on without pulling and the color was just the right amount - really no blending needed - super fast!  This is Age Rebel Shadow Stick in Smoky Quartz:
This is a super easy lunch - the Steamers vegs from Green Giant have been on sale for about $1 each lately - then I simply add soy sauce & shredded cheese:
    Have a great week!

Even before my days as a caterer I collected anything that revolved around cooking; I especially love baking pans & always want the newest & most interesting sets:
I think it is important to buy quality because I plan to pass my things on to the DIL & GD - along with the memories of the wonderful foods that were created to commemorate special days.

My son gave me a Keurig for Christmas and I realize I am late to the game - I try to keep clutter off my counters but this little gem is too fun!  I usually use it 2-3 x a day!
I am currently enjoying a tea called Winter Spice & it is delicious - and caffeine free!
Thank you son - you're my favorite! (He's an only child!)

I am excited to start purchasing the spring collections of some of my favorite cosmetics comps and as always, Chanel does not disappoint.  Chanel Joues Contraste Powder Blush - the Innocence color is very beautiful:

The color pictured is Sonate - this would certainly be a great year 'round color!

I have been trying different eye shadow brushes and honestly, the inexpensive e l f brushes are as good as anything - really, for $1 you just can't go wrong!
I don't know where some of these came from but these are a variety of my back ups.
The cotton ones are neat because the bottom is flat & the top is pointed = both are great helps in cleaning up make up around the eye area.

I purchased this lighted make up mirror and it was too good!  Let me explain;  I am a daily migraineur and one of my triggers is light.  This mirror is very bright and instantly triggered head pain. It had to go back but if you need one this is a good purchase; not too large & good light intensity.
Becoming organized is an ongoing exercise for me so I am always on the hunt for items that will help me in that effort. Apparently I now have a collection of 'helpers':
This is going to work with some of my other organizing options:
I love these decorated boxes & use them for a zillion things.
Pink aviator sunglasses are a must for me this year:

Someone sent me the following: " As women we do the errands of Angels."
Don't you just love it!!  As a matter of fact, I have had women in my life that came just when I so needed them......it was miraculous.  This year, may I be one of those women.

I have dabbled in Tarte cosmetics all year so I ordered the 'Glow Beyond' collection:
I especially wanted to try the bronzer Park Ave Princess.  It looks matte in the compact but there is a little shimmer in it.  I think it is too dark for me but I do think I could lighten it up with setting powder.  I have not tried the mascara yet and may not, as I only use waterproof.
These shoes are so cute for sort of dressed-up casual; I only wear these indoors, a fancy version of "house" shoes:

No heels!!!!  I normally buy my pants in petite size so there is no hemming needed.
And of course, the fashionable 5 yr old in her Christmas finery....
I plan to resume designing hair accessories for little fashionistas after the new year and you can go here: http://thesweetpinkshop.blogspot.com  to see some of my former designs.  Now that brain surgery is no longer my hobby I can begin creating again, especially now that the Princess is very interested in anything pink & frilly!  They say she gets it honest, and I have nooooo idea what they mean??!!!!!!!!!

The holidays give me reason to bring out the "good" stuff-
    Some of my Christmas china:
Lenox Holiday Dinnerware Dinner Plate (Set Of 6)
Lenox Winter Greet Dinnerware Salad Plate (Set Of 6)
    I love all of these!
What are some of your favorites?

Perfume is an item I treat myself to on occasion and once in awhile I try something new. I thought I would like Tom Ford's Black Orchid but it did not turn out that way.  I usually buy Sephora's Perfume Sampler and it is a great way to sample expensive perfumes before taking the full plunge.

I have not tried all of them but there are some favorites in there like Lancome's
    La vie est belle:
    La vie est belle
This is such a beautiful fragrance & it is already under my tree!

The princess has turned 5 ~

Grandchildren are such a blessing - I have enjoyed every moment of their lives.
After 4 brain surgeries, I feel so fortunate to be here and watch them grow up; this year has been one of those that if I could freeze time I would.
    Blessings to all.
