When I saw this advertised:  Maybelline Eye Shadow Palette, The Blushed Nudes, I knew I had to have it!  These are my colors - as a matter of fact, I will probably buy a back up.

Most of these have some shimmer in the color but are not too glittery.  There definitely seems to be a difference in the colors on the promotional ads than what I actually purchased.  I think I like my purchase better ~ for under $10 you can't go wrong.

I really like the pastel blue being shown in the spring collections:
This color will look fabulous with denim, in its many different shades.

I have always collected baskets and love this one:
I even found this style created into a necklace that I have had forever:

I enjoy looking at the lovely tablescapes people create but I always wonder.........where do they put the food?  Is there a buffet or sideboard beside the dining table?
It seems every square inch is taken up in decorations.
My family is not interested in hopping up every time they want refills!

I think this is what is for lunch today - of course with more cheese, worcestershire sauce and probably bacon bits!

Congrats to Duke ~ going to the Final Four!!!!!
(they have my son & my money!)

When I ordered my new Rose Gold Eye Shadow, I also ordered the Gilded Gold Eye Shadow Palette.
This is a very neutral set and should be very useful, particularly the 2nd row - the top row has way too much glitter for me but I will buy an entire palette for just one color.
The Rose Gold Eye Shadow Palette also included matte, shimmer & glittery eye shadows - I would not use the glitter but the others were nice - worked as well as higher priced eye shadows on the market.  I am glad I ordered as it as it has sold out, though surely they will reorder.
But the colors in the Rose Gold set are more my style ~ I love the pink, pastel lavender colors because they seem to work better for my green eyes.  Here are some swatches:
Top row L -R: Champagne, Pink, Hopeless, Romantic, Chandelier, Luxe, Dahlia
Bottom : Prosecco, Bubbles, Breathless, Dessert, Sweetheart, Orchid
This leave-in conditioner was reduced & am thrilled I spotted it!  I really like leave-in conditioners as I think it gives another layer of protection from blow dryers & flat irons.
It will be 70' degrees this week so maybe Spring is finally here!  The strawberries are coming in nicely:
So with Spring here, there are some things that need to be done and that includes cleaning my copper collection displayed in the kitchen:

Do you have a lot of spring cleaning projects?  Are there some you enjoy more than others?   I love changing the linens - I use flannel sheets for winter then change to Egyptian cotton for warmer seasons ~ and off comes the down comforters!

I am finally surfacing from the migraine from h!ll - this was a real endurance test.
As a daily migraineur, I am accustomed to constant pain but this week was particularly difficult.  Changing weather is very hard on head pain sufferers but at least this time it was only rain, not sleet & snow!

Last week I placed an order with Ulta and these lovelies have arrived:
Rose Gold Eye Shadow Palette
ULTARose Gold Natural Eye Shadow Palette

Ulta GWP
I will review them over the weekend and share better pictures ~ this set was a 15 piece GWP (gift with purchase) - I will probably not use any of these except the lg brush & mascara.

Congratulations to Sherry P in Texas -  you are the winner of the Tarte Cheek Stain!  Please send your address by Sunday & I will get it in the mail.
Everyone have a great weekend!

With this cold, dry weather I have been reaching for moisturizing body wash every time I shower ~ I am loving these two:
Miss Precious has very sensitive skin so the Dove has worked nicely for her:
I can't believe she is 5 now! I truly love my 2 grands more than my next breath!

I have recently tried L'Oreal Hydra Perfecte Powder and I am impressed!
It is translucent and gave just a natural glow without shimmer - it was a hunt to find it but definitely worth it ~ I plan to order multiples.  It helps set your foundation without heaviness or changing color.
(I buy & pay for all the products I am using and review.)
Ulta is giving 20% off Strivectin prods for the next week.  These are excellent prods that give results.
This prod gives the benefits of retinol without the flaking & irritation.  And with 20% off I can afford to battle wrinkles every day!

I know I should not have too much salt but since using pink sea salt I don't feel so guilty.  As a Southern girl, I think everything needs salt!  So I have been using this:
Just need a little & I do put it on everything!
A great recipe for using good salt is Rosemary Mixed Nuts - there are many different varieties of this recipe & here are some easy ones:

Rosemary is a lovely herb to grow indoors - I keep it in my sun-room ~ it's time to start some of my other favorite indoor herbs: dill, parsley, oregano

For those of you who love Christmas, all day, every day, a radio station in NY is now playing Christmas music 24 hours a day, seven days a week -  They rebranded the station as "Santa 105.7 FM".   You can listen to the station live online
                                                            Enjoy!

I want to have a giveaway to show my appreciation for my lovely followers - I always enjoy hearing from you & love sharing information on the latest prods we need in our life.
